Jarrod Furgason, Director of Commercial Services at First United Bank & Trust, is pleased to welcome Gabriel Mulitauaopele as a Commercial Relationship Manager serving Washington and Frederick counties in Maryland and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
In his new role, Mulitauaopele will work directly with business owners and organizations to help them achieve their financial goals. He will provide guidance on lending and banking solutions, build strong customer relationships, and support the continued growth of First United’s commercial banking services throughout the region.
Mulitauaopele is already familiar with First United and its commitment to community banking. He began his journey with the Bank as a commercial banking intern, where he supported client relationship efforts, assisted with strategic projects, and worked alongside commercial banking and credit teams. During his internship, he helped strengthen customer engagement initiatives and gained valuable experience analyzing financial information and supporting lending activities.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mulitauaopele earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. His studies also included business analytics, statistics, and accounting. While attending the University of Maryland, he was active in the Real Estate Club and Club Golf.
