Donna Burns
Burns plays a key role in supporting Treasury Services by developing and expanding complex business relationships to drive deposit growth. She works closely with existing and prospective customers to communicate product benefits while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely, seamless service. With more than 30 years of experience in financial institutions, she brings deep industry expertise to First United.
Brett Butler
Butler brings more than 25 years of experience in financial institutions, with a strong focus on prospecting new clients and maintaining lasting relationships. He excels at identifying client needs, analyzing financial statements, and delivering tailored lending solutions while managing risk within commercial loan portfolios. Butler has successfully managed approximately $220 million in commercial loan portfolios through clear communication and a results-driven approach.
Jarrod Furgason
Furgason leads commercial banking efforts across the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and parts of Maryland, overseeing client relationships and driving strategic growth. He plays a key role in expanding the bank’s commercial portfolio while guiding a team focused on delivering comprehensive financial solutions. With decades of experience as a market president, commercial lender, and financial institution leader, he brings deep expertise to his role. Furgason is also highly engaged in his community, having served in leadership roles and contributed to numerous local organizations and athletic programs.
JoLeen Haskiell
Haskiell has built an extensive career in payroll and benefits, bringing nearly 30 years of experience, including more than two decades with First United Bank & Trust. She has advanced through multiple roles across finance and human resources, building deep expertise in payroll, systems, and benefits administration. A West Liberty University graduate and valedictorian, she now serves as Director of Compensation, overseeing payroll and compensation strategy for the organization.
Jennifer Petrie
Petrie brings 28 years of experience in marketing and communications within financial institutions, leading all marketing operations for the organization. She has been promoted to Vice President in recognition of exceptional leadership, strategic execution, and a results-driven approach in her role. She has successfully overseen all marketing operations, delivering integrated digital and traditional campaigns aligned with corporate objectives, strengthening brand visibility, and driving growth.
Maggie Robey
With 30 years of banking experience, Robey oversees both sales and daily servicing of business clients, including lending, deposits, and treasury management. She plays a key role in growing the bank’s commercial loan and deposit portfolio while delivering customized financial solutions to local businesses. Robey is also deeply involved in her community, serving in leadership and volunteer roles that reflect her strong commitment to service.
A.J. Savopoulos
Savopoulos brings a decade of experience in the information technology sector and leads IT operations at First United. With degrees in Secure Computing and Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, he works to ensure the secure, efficient operations that support the bank’s overall success. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), he contributes strong expertise in safeguarding systems and supporting the bank’s technology infrastructure.
Tonya Sines
Sines has built a distinguished career with First United since joining the organization in 1994, growing through a variety of roles to her current position as Director of Operations. Her experience spans customer service, branch management, IT support, wealth administration, deposit operations, and loan servicing, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the bank’s operations. A graduate of First United’s leadership development program, she has further strengthened her expertise through ongoing leadership training. Sines is also committed to her community, dedicating time to volunteer efforts that reflect her passion for service.
