First United Bank & Trust is pleased to announce that Chris Bladen, Project Manager, and Will Cessna, Project Management Specialist, have earned their Project Management Professional (PMP)® certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The PMP certification is a globally recognized credential that validates advanced experience, education, and competency in leading and directing projects. It demonstrates a strong command of project management practices across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.

Chris has been with First United for nearly 10 years, and during his tenure, he has led and contributed to several key initiatives. Will has nearly 14 years of experience at First United, where he’s worked in Retail Banking, the IT Service desk, and now Project Management.
“Will continues to excel in each role he steps into around the Bank,” Chris said. “During his time at First United, he has consistently delivered exceptional results across a variety of positions. We’re excited to see how Will continues to develop and apply PMI practices to serve the Bank.”
The PMP certification builds on Chris’ and Will’s experience and supports continued growth in delivering complex, multi-functional programs.
