First United Bank & Trust is proud to celebrate Carissa L. Rodeheaver on her recognition in The Daily Record’s Banking and Financial Services Power List, honoring leaders who help drive Maryland’s economic growth.
Carissa, who previously served as Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer, has led First United since 2016 through a period of transformative growth, innovation, and strategic expansion. As part of the Bank’s leadership transition, she passed the reins to her successor, Jason Rush, effective January 1, 2026, and now serves as Executive Chairman until her planned retirement at the conclusion of the 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 7.
The Power List recognizes professionals whose work strengthens Maryland’s business community and supports long-term financial well‑being. Carissa’s inclusion reflects her vision, leadership, and deep commitment to the communities First United serves.
We congratulate Carissa on this well‑deserved honor and thank her for her continued leadership.
