Keith Morgan, Managing Director of Commercial Services at First United Bank & Trust, is proud to welcome W. Tanner Russell as Director of Commercial Services.
Russell will work intensively on the bank’s business portfolio, soliciting new customers and businesses and maintaining good relationships with present customers. Working closely with others at the bank, his goal will be to enhance communication between business partners and develop opportunities for Retail Banking, Deposit Services, Mortgage, and Wealth Management lines of business. As the Director of Commercial Services, he will be responsible for setting and meeting certain sales objectives consistent with the bank’s marketing and sales plan.

I know he will bring with him a wealth of experience from his various previous roles in commercial banking, combining them to shine in this role and enhance the bank’s portfolio of businesses and companies,” Morgan said. “He is a strategic thinker and superb leader, and I’m excited to welcome him into this role.”
Russell received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from West Virginia University. In his previous roles, he worked as a vice president of commercial banking, a senior commercial banking executive, and a business banker and vice president for financial institutions in Wheeling, WV.
He has served on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce, Ohio County Development Authority, Children’s Home of Wheeling, Orchard Park Resources, and more.
