We’re Making Significant Investments

As noted in the recent Washington County Economic Development Newsletter:

“First United has been making significant investments in their Washington County, MD presence. In just over twelve-months’ time, First United Bank and Trust has invested over $1.5 million into their four local branches. In November 2018 the bank completed construction of their newest location at 19405 Emerald Square, Suite 1000 in Hagerstown in order to better serve their customers in the North end of town. In 2019, First United Bank and Trust completely remodeled two local branches, one at 100 S Main St in Smithsburg, MD and the other located at 1646 Wesel Boulevard in Hagerstown, MD.

To cap off their remodeling efforts the bank will complete another remodel at their branch located at 130 S Edgewood Drive, Hagerstown, MD. Each office will provide a warm, welcoming, and modern experience for customers. Some new amenities for First United Bank and Trust customers are a new Discovery Center where customers can utilize touchscreens and tablets to self-serve their banking and beverage bars where customers can enjoy a cool drink or a hot cup of coffee while completing their transactions. The new branches look great and customers are already enjoying your new offices.”
