Frederick, MD – First United Bank & Trust is pleased to support the 2019 New Spire Arts STAGES Capital Campaign with a donation of $5,000.

New Spire Arts is a new performing arts nonprofit located in Downtown Frederick. STAGES, a flexible black box theatre, is now open at 15 W Patrick Street across from the Weinberg in the heart of the Theatre District. The new venue will serve as an arts performance and information focal point for the community, including both a theater and family-friendly gathering spaces. The second building, New Spire Studios, is located on East Church Street, and hosts a wide variety of educational programs and workshops for all ages and abilities.

New Spire Arts’ goal is to collaborate with existing organizations and share resources to uplift the Frederick arts community. Current partners include the YMCA, SHIP (Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership), the Frederick Arts Council, Maryland School for the Deaf, the Downtown Frederick Partnership, the Delaplaine, Heartly House, and more.
