Scott Hostetler, Vice President and Director of Mortgage Services at First United Bank & Trust, is thrilled to announce the promotion of J.T. Bowling to Mortgage Relationship Manager, working in the Washington County Hagerstown Office.
In this role, Bowling will build and maintain strong client relationships, guiding borrowers through the mortgage process and offering tailored financial solutions. Through collaboration with lenders, real estate professionals, and internal teams, he will help to ensure smooth loan approvals while staying informed on market trends and regulatory requirements.
With a strong foundation in finance, Bowling earned his bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University in 2017. Over the past eight years, he has been a key player at First United, serving as a Consumer Loan Underwriter and honing his expertise in mortgage lending, home equity lines, and installment requests. Known for his meticulous approach, he carefully reviewed credit documents to assess financial viability and ensure sound lending decisions. His role also included mortgage and home equity appraisal requests, contributing to a seamless loan process for clients.
