First United Bank & Trust is proud to introduce Carmen Pennington as the Regional Retail Manager for the Morgantown area, said Amy Garner, Managing Director of Retail.
Pennington will lead and develop the retail advisor team across multiple community offices. In this role, she will provide strategic sales leadership, oversee community office operations, and ensure performance goals are met with excellence. She will also foster strong customer relationships, supporting individuals, businesses, and organizations in achieving their financial goals.
Pennington brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in the Morgantown area, where she served as a branch manager, market leader, merchant sales consultant, and relationship banker. Since beginning her banking career in 2008, she has consistently met extensive sales goals, managed daily office operations, and supported small business clients through lending and relationship management. Her background also includes mentoring and training, along with strong skills in customer relationships, product development, negotiation, and profit and loss management.
“Carmen’s experience and education position her to lead with confidence and will help to drive continued success across the region,” Garner said. “Her lending proficiency and values-driven approach is centered on teamwork, accountability, and a passion for helping others. These qualities make her an exceptional fit for this role.”
Pennington earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from West Virginia University and is an alumni of Leadership Mon. She resides in Morgantown with her husband, Matthew Arcure, and two boys, Donovan Dalton and Lucca Arcure. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering for organizations, including Women United.
Pennington will be located at First United Bank & Trust’s Suncrest office and can be reached at 304-598-8541 or cpennington@MyBank.com
