First United Bank & Trust Celebrates 125th Anniversary with Ribbon Cutting at New Boonsboro Location
BOONSBORO, MD. — December 18, 2025 — First United Bank & Trust marked its 125th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new Boonsboro branch, followed by hosting the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s Business and Social Hour (BASH). The event brought together local community members, business leaders, and chamber representatives to celebrate the bank’s longstanding commitment to service and its exciting future in Boonsboro.
The BASH featured the theme “A Taste of Boonsboro,” offering attendees an opportunity to network, explore local businesses, and experience the distinctive flavors and charm of the community.
During the celebration, First United received special recognition from the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and official proclamations presented by Maryland Delegate William Valentine; William Wivell, Chair of Western MD Delegation; Jeff Cline, Vice President WC Commissioners; Howard Long, Mayor; and Anthony Nalley Assistant Mayor of Boonsboro.
As part of its dedication to supporting local initiatives, First United presented a donation to the Boonsboro Athletic Boosters Inc. The contribution was delivered by Carissa Rodeheaver, President & CEO; Jason Rush, Chief Operating Officer; and Alan Mullendore, Managing Director of Commercial Services.

Presenting this check to the Boonsboro Athletic Boosters is just one way we’re building lasting partnerships and strengthening our community.”
