Program Details
The first step to your first car purchase is to make an appointment to:
- Evaluate your net worth and budget against savings goals
- Review tips on purchasing a vehicle
- Deepen understanding of the car buying process
- Examine car insurance basics
Once you make an appointment to review the program details with one of our Associates, you can earn one or more of these great benefits:
Matching Savings1
- For each $500, a $100 match is made, up to a $300 dollar maximum.
- Savings must accumulate for at least 12 months.
- Once enrolled, you will receive a Matching Savings Certificate.
Loan discounts on auto loan financing with First United2
- Receive a up to 1% rate discount with ACH.*
- Auto loan rate discount is valid for up to 3 years from enrollment in Program.
- Once enrolled, you will receive a Loan Discount Certificate.

Member of FDIC. All customers or applicants must review program details with a First United Bank & Trust associate in order to qualify for program benefits. Enrollment in program may begin after the completion of one specified financial education class. Deposit match is valid for up to 2 years from date of enrollment in Matching Savings Program.

2 A First United Bank & Trust auto loan rate discount is valid for up to 3 years from enrollment in First Time Car Buyer Program. Must be 18 to apply. All loans are subject to credit approval.
*Up to 1.00% loan discount includes a 0.25% discount for automatic ACH payments from First United Bank & Trust checking account. If auto draft from another bank or a payment book, discount would be 0.25% less than full discount. Loan program, including rate and APR may change without notice.
