First United Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the renovations to our Grantsville Community Office are now complete. This branch will now provide customers with all the latest technologies and conveniences to create a complete banking experience. In appreciation of our customers’ patience during construction, First United invites the community to a Customer Appreciation Day to celebrate our new look and renewed passion.
Join us for the celebration on Friday, October 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grantsville Community Office at 157 Main Street. The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce will be kicking off the day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 9:00 a.m.
“We know that people are tech-savvy and want the convenience of mobile and internet banking. But we also realize that we still have many customers who want to see and talk to their bankers,” said Carissa L. Rodeheaver, CEO, Chairman of the Board and President of First United Bank & Trust. “This is an exciting time as we just celebrated our renovated offices in Oakland and Friendsville with the Deep Creek Lake office scheduled to be renovated within the next month. The Garrett County area is the perfect location for our new approach to the banking experience. We remain true to our traditional banking values while providing customers with the newest technologies and modern conveniences that we have to offer.”
The newly built office will include a clear focus on the local community and efficient, faster transactions to serve both consumer and business customers, as well as modern banking technology. The new technology available to customers will include an advanced ATM with envelope-free deposits, an interactive display and a beverage bar. First United is excited about the enhanced technology. They can use tablet technologies for themselves or have a banking specialist guide them through any of the new digital tools. Customers will also be able to enjoy a cool drink or a cup of coffee from the beverage bar while they meet with a highly-trained associate. These new additions will provide a comfortable environment to enjoy while at First United.
Philip L. Rodeheaver, Market President for Garrett and Allegany Counties, commented, “We are so excited to bring this new approach to banking and will continue our commitment to the Garrett County area. This newly renovated office will offer self-service options, as well as personal one-on-one banking options and we provide this while adding and offering new, easy and convenient technology to our community. The beautiful design also incorporates many comfortable, modern elements for our customers and associates to enjoy.”
